Who We Are
Grounded in Faith. Called to Serve.
Our mission, vision and values guide every act of worship, witness and service at Historic Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Our Mission
Historic Brown Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church is a covenant body of baptized believers who faithfully follow Jesus Christ and the Word of God as revealed in Holy Scripture. We passionately, persistently and progressively pursue spiritual excellence through worship, witness and work for God’s Kingdom until Christ returns.
Our Vision
Our vision is to faithfully, fervently and persistently magnify God and glorify Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, with a spirit of excellence in all the life, labor and love we offer in service to Him, His Church and His people.
Our Values & Beliefs
Our values reflect our mission and vision. Through the Spirit’s work in us, these qualities grow together; none stands alone, and each strengthens the others.
